The last decade in Nobile was marked by dynamic growth. We have shown how much we can improve in our beloved sport and how many innovations we are able to present. We have been continuously putting a lot of efforts to make kiteboarding – in all its variants – a popular and mass sports discipline.
The world of kiteboarding is changing in front of our eyes. After a decade of dynamic growth it enters the next, even more professional stage. It is visible in the level of kiteboarding industry, events organisation and infrastructure. The competitors’ and riders’ skills are becoming higher and higher, while the tricks are more powered and complicated than ever. It requires hard work of our engineers from the R&D department to be ahead of these changes and deliver the best products which suit each riding style. This is why Nobile is searching for innovations, best materials and technology at every stage of designing products.
The new 2016 “Earth and Spaces” collection is full of novelties. We believe it will meet all riders’ expectations.
While creating boards for 2016, we had in our mind not only competitors, but all kiteboarders out there. Thinking about all local heroes around the world we re-shaped the NHP line and T5 boards and took them on the next level. These boards will help you get there too! In cooperation with our beautiful female riders we improved and extended women’s line by adding 50/Fifty model dedicated for wakestyle riding. Our splitboards line is a bestseller, but we didn’t stop improving it. Good news for all travelling by plane with their equipment: not only quivers are not needed, but also W-connection is even stronger and easier to connect. Just use our bags designed for travelling with splitboards and save some cash for nicer spending. We didn’t forget how important is the connection between the rider and the board, thus for 2016 we are introducing completely new, light and ergonomic IFS (Integrated Footpad System).
St. Peter-Ording is a charming seaside spa and a municipality located in Germany. Every year, at the 2nd half of August, the biggest European kiteboarding event takes place in this resort. From August 19th till 28th kitesurfes from around the world come to St. Peter-Ording for the PKRA Kitesurf World Cup.
This year during the event for the first time we presented our 2012 products to the audience. All who came to our Showroom located at the event area had a chance to see and test Nobile Kitebording next season gear. Not only the boards made a really good impression on visitors, thanks to breathtaking designs and freshly introduced innovations, but we also received a lot of interest in our new KISS „clik & go” fins and pad mounting system. Everybody was amazed how fast and easy it’s now possible to mount and demount board’s accessories. Not to forget about the kites, both T5-Koinobori and N62 V3 collected really good opinions and proved themselves to be perfect choice to fly and ride.
In St. Peter-Ording we also had a meeting with Nobile Kiteboarding distributors from around the World. During 3 days we had a chance to see each other again, share the opinions about our products and spend good time together.
The main attraction of the event was of course the Beetle Kitesurf World Cup. Our team rider Joanna „Asia” Litwin was charging with no fear and by landing such tricks as Blind Judge, Sbend pass, 313 and Slim got herself to the 3rd place in the competition. Big congrats to Asia and good luck on the next tourstop in Brazil. Mike „The Knife” Blomvall was competing on his 2012 signature board 50Fifty. He knew what the judges were looking for (good trick execution and well powered), and secured himself a solid, 12th position in overall PKRA ranking.
One agian we’d like to congrats to our team riders for their results, and thanks to everybody who visited our booth and experienced Nobile Kiteboarding 2012 Collection. We’ll be launching new website any day now. All of you who didn’t have a chance to see us in St.Peter stay tuned to see the next season gear.
